Happy October! Fall is the perfect time to cozy up with a good crochet project. I've been keeping busy crocheting sweaters, hats, bracelets, and so much more! (Seriously, my family is probably getting sick of me constantly having my projects sitting on the arms of our couch.)
This giveaway is sponsored by Create for Less, and I highly recommend you take some time to look through all of the great discounts they have on craft supplies. I know I could spend a lot of money there . . .
Create for Less generously provided me a set of Clover Amour Crochet Hooks to see what I thought of them. In a nutshell, they're great!
If you want more than the nutshell review above, then here you go! The handles are super comfortable, even after using them for hours (and hours!). Having a nice grip is especially nice for the smaller sized hooks. I don't have any health problems with my hands, but even I can't crochet with a fine hook for too long without cramping -- I had no problems with these!
I had previously had bad experiences with non-metal hooks (catching on the yarn, not easy to slide through the stitches, overall just cheap), but these are so smooth! They just glide through the yarn. They feel really well made -- not cheap at all!
You can see these colorful hooks in a lot of my recent WIPS posts. (That's slang for Works In Progress, just in case you're new to the crochet world.) I can guarantee that you'll be seeing more of these hooks in my pictures.
Update: Sorry, this giveaway is over. However, be sure to follow this blog for more great giveaways.
One lucky reader will win a set of
Clover Amour Crochet Hooks.
This giveaway is a part of my October Giveaways Celebration. Read more about this celebration here. There are more giveaways to enter (hosted by other bloggers) at The Philosopher's Wife: Giveaways Galore, like this one for fabric or this one for yarn.
